Dr. Amitabh Kulkarni is a highly qualified and experienced nephrologist practising in Dubai, UAE.
He completed his medical graduation (MBBS and MD) from Mumbai University and his Nephrology training (DNB) at PD Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. He then moved to Canada and finished his clinical fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Ottawa.
He is also a member of various nephrology societies, including the Emirates Society of Medicine and Nephrology, the Indian Society of Nephrology, and the International Society of Nephrology.
Dr. Kulkarni has been practising Nephrology in one of the biggest private hospitals in the UAE for the past 10 years. He treats patients with a wide range of kidney diseases, including hypertension, kidney stones, kidney failure, and glomerular disease. He is also an expert in interventional nephrology, hemodialysis, and ICU/critical care nephrology.
Dr. Kulkarni is passionate about preventive nephrology and increasing awareness of kidney disease in the general population. He believes that early detection and treatment of kidney disease is essential to preventing serious health complications.
He actively participates in conferences, journal clubs, and seminars, and has various publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
